Ryan, a final year life sciences student at the National University of Singapore, is driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to society, shaped by his multicultural upbringing and family's struggles with healthcare costs. Born in Indonesia to a Javanese mother and a Singaporean Chinese father, he was raised by his single mother and stepfather, providing him with a rich perspective on life and relationships. Outside of academia, Ryan finds joy in the company of his friends' dogs, particularly Rikku the Shiba. He also indulges in singing, dancing, gym sessions, and immerses himself in the vibrant world of anime during leisure time. Ryan lives authentically, pursuing his passions while aspiring to make a positive impact on the world.
